Sanjeev Chopra, born on March 3, 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 West Bengal cadre. He holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration, a graduate degree in English, and a postgraduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Director, Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Mission Director, Secretary, Secretary to Governor, Deputy Director, Consultant, District Magistrate, Chief Executive Officer, Additional District Magistrate, Sub Divisional Officer, Assistant Collector, and Director General. His most recent position was Director in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from January 1, 2019, to March 31, 2021.
