Sanjay Rastogi, born on 24 January 1967, is a 1991 batch IAS officer of the Odisha cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering and an M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication from IIT Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Director General (Upgraded) at the National Archives of India, New Delhi, since 1 April 2026. His extensive career includes roles such as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Principal Secretary to Government, Commissioner & Secretary, Managing Director, Chief Vigilance Officer, Zonal Joint Director General, Export Commissioner, President, Director, Vice Chairman, and District Collector and District Magistrate. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
