Sanjay Pratap Singh, born on 30 July 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 batch of the A G M U T cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Sociology, a graduate degree in History, and an LL.B. in Law from the University of Delhi. During his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Special Secretary, Managing Director, Project Director, Joint Secretary, and OSD to Minister. His most recent position was Principal Secretary at the State Commission for Backward Classes from 21 August 2014 to 31 July 2021.
