Sanjay Pratap Singh, born on 30 July 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 AGMUT cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Sociology, a graduate degree in History, and an LL.B. in Law from the University of Delhi. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Special Secretary, Managing Director, Project Director, Joint Secretary, and Officer on Special Duty to Ministers. His most recent role was Principal Secretary at the State Commission for Backward Classes from 21 August 2014 to 31 July 2021.
