Sanjay Prasad, born on 23 May 1971, is a 1995 batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Geography and is currently serving as the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Throughout his career, he has held various key positions including Principal Secretary to Government, Secretary to Chief Minister, Joint Secretary, Managing Director, Divisional Commissioner, District Magistrate, Special Secretary, Deputy Land Revenue Commissioner, Additional Director, Chief Development Officer, and Joint Magistrate. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
