Sanjay Narayen, born on June 6, 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1976 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate degree in History, a postgraduate degree in History, and a diploma in Development Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Director, Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Secretary, and Principal Secretary. His most recent position was Joint Secretary in the Civil Aviation department at Maharashtra. Sanjay Narayen has contributed extensively to the administrative framework of Maharashtra before retiring from service.
