Sanjay Malhotra, born on 14 February 1968, is a 1990 batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree in Computer Science. Currently serving as Governor since 11 December 2024, Malhotra has held multiple key positions, including Officer on Special Duty, Secretary, Chairman and Managing Director, Additional Secretary, Principal Secretary, Commissioner, Managing Director, Special Secretary, Project Coordinator, Director, District Collector and District Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, and PS to Minister of State. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
