Sanjay Kumar Upadhyay, born on 14 December 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2008 Bihar cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Ranchi University. During his career, he served in the Urban Development Department, most recently as Municipal Commissioner from 26 July 2022. His past positions include Municipal Commissioner and Municipal Commissioner and CEO.
