Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, born on 03/02/1976, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2002 Bihar cadre. He holds a B.Com Honours in Cost Accounting, is a Chartered Accountant, and completed SMP Management Economics at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, New Delhi since 28/05/2025. His extensive career includes roles such as District Collector and Magistrate, Secretary, Managing Director, and State Transport Commissioner. He has received multiple awards, including the SKOCH Award and CBIP Award 2022. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
