Sanjay Kumar, born on 15 May 1981, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2008 AGMUT cadre. He holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Delhi University, an M.A. in Political Science from Annamalai University, and a postgraduate degree in International Economic Development and Regional Planning from MIT, USA. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Election Commissioner at the Election Commission of India in New Delhi since 6 August 2024. His previous roles include Director, Deputy Secretary, Secretary, Excise Commissioner Junior Administrative Grade, Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, Assistant Commissioner, and Secretary. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
