Sanjay Krishnarao Thade, born on 29 May 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Biochemistry. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Sub Divisional Officer, Director, Officer on Special Duty to Minister, Private Secretary, and Secretary on Compulsory Wait. His most recent position was Principal Secretary of the Backward Classes Welfare Department from 1 January 2014 to 1 October 2018.
