Sanjay Jaju, born on 26 February 1969, is a 1992-batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Telangana cadre. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.Tech. in Technology. Currently serving as the Chief Secretary of Telangana since 23 June 2026, he has held various key positions including Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Municipal Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, and Officer on Special Duty to Minister. His work has earned multiple awards such as the Prime Minister Award for Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDex) and several national and international e-Governance honors.
