Sanjay Gupta, born on June 19, 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Civil Engineering. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Deputy Secretary, District Development Officer, District Collector, Secretary to the Chief Minister, Director, Managing Director, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Member Secretary at Gujarat's Culture Department from October 1, 2001, to March 14, 2002.
