Sanjay Bansal, born on 10 February 1975, is a 2004 batch IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.E. and LL.B., as well as an M.Sc. from Calcutta University. Currently, he serves as Secretary at West Bengal's Backward Classes Welfare Department since 30 January 2023.
