Dr. Sanjay Ambadas Chahande, born on May 11, 1962, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Maharashtra cadre. He holds postgraduate degrees in science and medicine, including an M.B.B.S. from Nagpur University. Throughout his career, Dr. Chahande served in various capacities such as Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Textile Commissioner, Deputy Director General, Divisional Commissioner, Joint Secretary, District Collector, and Assistant Collector. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary in the Maharashtra Administration Department. His extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience across multiple government roles.
