Sanghamitra Ghosh, born on November 1, 1970, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1997 batch, West Bengal cadre. She holds a graduate degree and an M.A. Currently, she serves as the Principal Secretary in the Department of Home and Hill Affairs, West Bengal, a position she assumed on March 16, 2026. Throughout her career, she has held various roles including Assistant Collector, District Collector and Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Sub Divisional Officer, Chief Executive Officer, Mission Director, Managing Director, Secretary, and Principal Secretary to Government. She is proficient in Bengali and Hindi and remains in active service.
