Sandip Janardanpant Sagale, born on 16 November 1972, is a 2007 batch IAS officer of the Gujarat cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from Nagpur University. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including Director General, Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, District Collector, District Development Officer, Assistant Collector, and Supernumerary Assistant Collector. Currently, he is the Chief Electoral Officer at Gujarat, a position he has held since 23 February 2026. He is proficient in Marathi, English, and Gujarati. Sandip Janardanpant Sagale continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
