Sandip Janardanpant Sagale, born on 16 November 1972, is a 2007 batch IAS officer of the Gujarat cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from Nagpur University. Currently, he serves as the Chief Electoral Officer of Gujarat, a position he has held since 23 February 2026. Throughout his career, Sagale has held various key roles including Director General, Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, Collector, District Collector, District Development Officer, Assistant Collector, and Supernumerary Assistant Collector. He is proficient in Marathi, English, and Gujarati. Sandip Janardanpant Sagale remains in active service within the Gujarat cadre.
