Currently serving as Secretary in the Finance Department of Uttar Pradesh since January 2, 2026, she has held multiple positions including Assistant Collector, Joint Magistrate, Chief Development Officer, Director & MD, and Special Secretary. Fluent in Punjabi, Sandeep Kaur continues her service in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the governance and administration of Uttar Pradesh.
