Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Commissioner, Director, Commissioner, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, and Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary of the Forest and Wild Life Department, a role he assumed on 18 December 2013. Mr. Kumar’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple senior roles within the Punjab government until his retirement.
