Sameer Shukla, born on 08 March 1979, is a 2005 batch IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree. Currently, he serves as Secretary to Government in the Commerce and Industries Department (MSME and Mines) at Bengaluru, Karnataka, a position he has held since 18 June 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various roles including Joint Secretary, Private Secretary to Minister, Mission Director, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, and Assistant Commissioner. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
