Sakshi Sawhney, born on May 2, 1990, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2014 Punjab cadre. She holds a B.A.LL.B. in Law from NALSAR U-Law Hyderabad and an M.A. in Development Studies. Currently, she serves as the Chief Administrator at the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA), Punjab, a position she has held since January 22, 2026. Her previous roles include SDO/SDM, Assistant Secretary, Additional Deputy Commissioner, CEO, Chief Administrator, and Deputy Commissioner. She is proficient in English and Punjabi and continues to serve in the IAS.
