Saket Kumar, born on 25 October 1980, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2009 Bihar cadre. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in History. Currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, New Delhi since 21 March 2025, Saket has held various positions including Private Secretary to Minister, Private Secretary to Minister of State, Additional Secretary, Director, District Magistrate, Deputy Development Commissioner & Chief Executive Officer, Sub Divisional Officer, Assistant Collector & ADM. He is proficient in English and Maithili. Saket Kumar continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
