Sailendra Narayan Sarangi, born on 15 June 1950, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 Odisha cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Chief Administrator, Revenue Divisional Commissioner, Director, Managing Director, Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Special Secretary, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Finance Department from 24 February 2009 to 30 June 2010. Mr. Sarangi’s extensive service reflects his long-standing commitment to administrative roles within the Odisha government.
