Saibal Barman, born on 27 September 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2004 batch, West Bengal cadre. During his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale officer, Additional Chief Electoral Officer, and Ex-Officio Additional Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary in the Finance Department, a role he held from 9 February 2021 until his retirement on 27 September 2023.
