Sada Kant, born on January 5, 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Zoology, an M.Sc. in Zoology, and a Ph.D. in Zoology. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Secretary, Secretary, Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, Managing Director, Special Secretary, Joint Managing Director, Controller, Project Director, and Executive Magistrate. His most recent position was Joint Secretary from July 21, 2011, to January 31, 2018.
