Sachindra Pratap Singh, born on October 1, 1976, is a 2007 batch IAS officer of the Maharashtra cadre. He holds a B.Sc. from Allahabad University and an M.P.A. from IGNOU Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Commissioner Education at Maharashtra since January 2, 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Chairman & Managing Director, Director General, Commissioner, District Collector, Municipal Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, and Additional Director. He was recognized as the Outstanding District Collector in Yavatmal. Singh is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
