S.V.S. Ranga Rao, born on 28 August 1971, is a 2001 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Sc. in Botany and is currently serving as the Principal Secretary in the Reorganization and Coordination Department of Uttar Pradesh since 2 January 2026. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Joint Magistrate, District Magistrate, Divisional Commissioner, Commissioner and Secretary, Secretary Sports, Chief Executive Officer, Officer on Special Duty, Special Secretary, Chief Development Officer, and Member (Judicial).
