He holds a graduate degree in Physics, a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, and a postgraduate degree in Chemistry. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Metropolitan Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Joint Secretary, CEO, Commissioner, Adviser, Managing Director, District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Deputy CEO, and Assistant Collector. His most recent designation was Chief Information Commissioner at Maharashtra in the Information and Broadcasting Department.
