Dr. S Swarna, born on 26 July 1971, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1997 Tamil Nadu cadre. She holds a B.D.S. degree and is proficient in Hindi and Tamil. Currently, she serves as the Principal Secretary and Chairperson & Managing Director at TANSI, Chennai, a position she assumed on 22 June 2023. Throughout her career, Dr. Swarna has held various roles including Chairman and Managing Director, Joint Development Commissioner, Joint Commissioner, Executive Director, Joint Secretary, District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Special Officer, Additional Director, Deputy Commissioner, Secretary to Government, and Assistant Collector. She remains in active service.
