S Sundar, born on March 13, 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1963 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics and a graduate degree in Law. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Additional Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Adviser, Joint Secretary, Resident Commissioner, Director, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, District Development Officer, Under Secretary, OSD to Minister, and Assistant Collector. His most recent position was Secretary at Gujarat’s Department of Transport from February 1, 1996, to March 31, 1997.
