S Sukumaran, born on 12 February 1949, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 Kerala cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Director, Joint Commissioner, Project Director, District Collector, and Inspector General. His most recent position was Special Commissioner at Cochin, Kerala, in the Revenue Department from 30 August 2008 to 28 February 2009. Throughout his career, he contributed to the administrative functions of the Kerala cadre before retiring from service.
