S S Zende, born on April 17, 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 Maharashtra cadre. A graduate by education, he has served in various capacities including District Collector and Managing Director. Most recently, he held the position of Chief Executive Officer at the Slum Rehabilitation Authority, Maharashtra. Throughout his career, Zende contributed to the administration and development within the state of Maharashtra.
