S S Tinaikar, born on April 3, 1932, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1956 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree and a graduate degree in Philosophy. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Chairman & Managing Director, Commissioner, CEO, Joint Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Under Secretary, and Assistant Collector. His most recent position was Additional Secretary in the Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Department of Maharashtra. Mr. Tinaikar's extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the state government.
