S S Sohoni, born on August 9, 1946, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1970 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in History. Throughout his career, Sohoni served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Administrator, OSD to Minister, Secretary to Governor, and Secretary at Maharashtra. His most recent designation was Secretary at Maharashtra, and he was associated with the Vice President Secretariat. Sohoni's extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Maharashtra cadre.
