Dr. S S Saxena, born on October 13, 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1963 Maharashtra cadre. He held the position of Principal Secretary in the General Administration Department (Personnel) of Maharashtra. Dr. Saxena's extensive career included roles such as Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Special Commissioner, Director, Deputy Secretary, Joint Chief Controller, Secretary, District Collector, Additional Collector, and Assistant Collector. He holds postgraduate degrees in Physics and Business Administration, along with a Ph.D. in International Trade.
