S S Prasad, born on 20 July 1933, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Bihar cadre. He holds graduate degrees in Commerce and Law. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Additional District Magistrate, Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Development Commissioner, Joint Secretary, and Additional Secretary. His most recent position was Additional Secretary in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from 1 August 1989 to 1 July 1991.
