S S Menon, born on October 11, 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1963 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Economics and a postgraduate degree in History. Throughout his career, Menon served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Under Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, CEO, Administrator, Managing Director, Additional Secretary, and Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary at the Agriculture and Cooperation Department, Maharashtra. Menon's extensive service reflects a broad administrative experience within the Maharashtra cadre.
