S S Lalla, born on April 1, 1947, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1977 Maharashtra cadre. He held the position of Secretary to the Chief Minister in Mumbai, Maharashtra. His educational background includes a Diploma in Business Administration, a Graduate degree in Civil Engineering, and a Graduate degree in Law. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Commissioner, Chairman & Managing Director, Director, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, CEO, Executive Engineer, and Assistant Engineer. His extensive experience spans multiple administrative and engineering roles within the government.
