S Ramaswamy, born on 22 April 1960, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 batch of the Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Joint Secretary, Special Secretary, Officer on Special Duty, Joint Development Commissioner, Director, Executive Director, Commissioner, Secretary to Governor, and Principal Secretary. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Planning Department from 14 May 2010 to 30 April 2020.
