S Raju, born on 23 March 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Business Administration and a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Principal Secretary, Commissioner, Secretary, Director, Joint Managing Director, Special Secretary, District Magistrate, District Collector, Joint Secretary, Chief Development Officer, General Manager, and Executive Magistrate. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Social Welfare Department, commencing on 7 September 2010.
