S Rajgopal, born on 17 July 1935, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1957 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in History and a graduate degree in Mathematics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, CEO, Managing Director, Director, Additional Secretary, Expert Joint Secretary, Secretary, and OSD to Minister. His most recent designation was Cabinet Secretary at Maharashtra in the Cabinet Secretariat. Mr. Rajgopal’s extensive service reflects a broad administrative experience within the Maharashtra cadre.
