S Raghupati, born on February 5, 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics and a graduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Assistant Commissioner, Manager, General Manager, Revenue Officer, Authorised Officer, Chief Officer, Director, and Joint Commissioner. His most recent position was Joint Commissioner Director in the Labour and Employment department from December 1, 1998, to February 28, 2002.
