S R Bharti, born on January 4, 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Punjab cadre. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Philosophy and a graduate degree in Law. During his career, he served in various capacities including Commissioner, Under Secretary, Additional Deputy Commissioner, and Deputy Secretary in the Transport Department from January 1, 1993, to January 31, 1996. His extensive experience in administrative roles reflects his long-standing commitment to public service within the Punjab cadre.
