Dr. S. Prabhakar, born on 29 June 1972, is a 2009 batch IAS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds an M.B.A. and an M.V.Sc. Currently serving as the Managing Director at the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board, Chennai since 24 November 2023, Dr. Prabhakar has held various key positions including Managing Director (on deputation), Commissioner, and District Collector. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the administration and development of Tamil Nadu.
