S P Upasani, born on October 1, 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1962 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a Graduate degree in Law, along with postgraduate qualifications in Business Administration and Commerce. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Private Secretary, Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Additional Collector, Assistant Collector, CEO, Managing Director, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Chairman, and Chairman & Managing Director. His most recent position was Secretary at Maharashtra. Mr. Upasani’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple leadership roles within the state government.
