S P Saksena, born on November 25, 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Special Secretary in the Finance Department. His most recent position was Special Secretary from July 1, 1992, to November 30, 1996. Saksena’s extensive service reflects his long-standing commitment to administrative roles within the Uttar Pradesh government.
