S Natarajan, born on December 7, 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds an M.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Madras and a P.G. Diploma in Forestry. Throughout his career, he served in multiple capacities including Deputy Secretary, Executive Director, Commissioner, Managing Director, District Collector, Director, Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister, and Revenue Divisional Commissioner. His most recent position was Joint Secretary in the Transport Department from April 6, 2017. Natarajan’s extensive experience spans various administrative and executive roles within the Tamil Nadu government.
