Managing Director, Environment, Forests and Wildlife Department
S Narain Seth, born on 12 October 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Regional Food Controller, District Collector and Magistrate, District Magistrate, and Managing Director. His most recent position was Managing Director in the Environment, Forests and Wildlife Department from 1 July 1996 to 31 October 1997. Mr. Seth's extensive experience spans multiple administrative roles within the Uttar Pradesh government.
