S Murthy, born on 15 September 1932, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 batch, Andhra Pradesh cadre. He served in the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, holding the position of Deputy Secretary from 1 July 1989 to 1 September 1990. Throughout his career in the IAS, Murthy contributed to administrative functions within his cadre until his retirement.
