S M Raju, born on July 3, 1960, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 Bihar cadre. A graduate in Agriculture, he served in various capacities including Deputy Secretary, Under Suspension, Additional Commissioner, Additional Secretary, Deputy Development Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, and Director General. His most recent position was Secretary in the Department of Schedule Tribe, Schedule Caste Development at Patna, Bihar, starting February 20, 2013. Throughout his career, he contributed to administrative functions within the Bihar cadre until his retirement.
