S M Kendrekar, born on 13 May 1965, is a retired IAS officer from the 2002 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and an LL.B. in Civil Laws from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, and a PG Diploma in Finance and Financial Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University, Delhi. His most recent role was Divisional Commissioner at Aurangabad, Maharashtra, in the Revenue and Forest Department. Throughout his career, he served as Commissioner of Youth Services and Cultural Activities, Agricultural Commissioner, Chief Administrator, District Collector, Joint Commissioner, and CEO.
